Development Background
Since its launch in 2018, the ‘CIRCULIGHT’ series has pioneered the fan-equipped ceiling light category in the Japanese market, based on the concept of ‘the fusion of wind and light.’ The series has been highly acclaimed for its functionality, achieving cumulative sales exceeding 800,000 units (based on Doshisha’s shipment data from March 2018 to July 2025).
While the series has offered various sizes and installation options, there was significant demand for a model with greater airflow, particularly for bedrooms and living rooms. Responding to these requests, Doshisha launched the ‘Circulight Wing’ in April 2026, which features a redesigned light and blade arrangement, incorporating large blades to achieve the series’ maximum airflow while maintaining easy installation. The newly released black color is a direct response to numerous customer requests.

New Black Color Introduced
Following the existing white and natural wood options, the new black color is now available. This chic black finish is designed to enhance any space, creating a calm atmosphere in various interiors, including bedrooms and studies.
Maximum Airflow with Quiet Operation
This product features a revamped structure with the light positioned centrally and seven large blades surrounding it, delivering the series’ most powerful airflow.
Similar to other series, the fan utilizes ‘Kamomefan blades,’ developed by the marine propeller manufacturer Nakashima Propeller Co., Ltd. specifically for Doshisha, to generate a comfortable, natural breeze.
Furthermore, this blade structure minimizes wind noise, achieving quiet operation of approximately 36dB even at maximum speed (data based on company measurements). This allows for comfortable use in quiet environments such as bedrooms.
6 Fan Speeds + Turbo Mode, 7 Dimming Levels, 5 Color Temperature Levels
The included remote control allows for 6 fan speed settings, plus a turbo mode, enabling airflow adjustment according to room temperature and environment. Additionally, brightness can be adjusted in 7 stages and light color in 5 stages, creating a comfortable ambiance tailored to room atmosphere and personal preference.
Unlike conventional ceiling lights where light intensity may decrease during color temperature adjustment, this product maintains brightness by balancing the arrangement of warm and cool LEDs, ensuring consistent illumination.
Improved Air Conditioning Efficiency
By efficiently circulating air from the ceiling, the product eliminates temperature inconsistencies within the room. When used in conjunction with air conditioning, it helps reduce excessive temperature adjustments, achieving both comfort and energy savings.
All-Season Functionality with Forward and Reverse Rotation
In summer, the fan operates in forward rotation (downward) to deliver cool air, while in winter, it uses reverse rotation (upward) to draw up cold air near the floor and circulate it, making it suitable for use throughout the year.
Easy Installation
The main unit features a lightweight design, inheriting the ease of installation characteristic of the ‘EZ series.’ It can be installed regardless of the type of hook ceiling, and for most common residential hook ceilings, no construction work is required for easy setup.
