Shark EVOPOWER DX Features and Enhancements
Shark launched the EVOPOWER in September 2018 to create new demand and invigorate the Japanese handheld vacuum market. The series quickly became the top-selling handheld vacuum brand by volume share in 2019 and has maintained its leading position. Building on this success, the EVOPOWER EX was released in June 2021, offering twice the suction power of previous models and new features. In April 2023, the EVOPOWER EX was further improved with LED headlights, allowing for easier cleaning in dimly lit areas. The EVOPOWER DX, launched in May 2024, represents a complete redesign, achieving Shark’s highest-ever handheld vacuum suction power.
1. “Hybrid Handy” with Floor Motorized Nozzle
For the first time in a Shark handheld vacuum, the EVOPOWER DX includes a floor motorized nozzle. This innovation allows users to perform both handheld and floor cleaning with a single device. Unlike previous extension nozzles, the new motorized nozzle is effective on carpets and rugs, and its compact, maneuverable head makes floor cleaning even easier. When the floor motorized nozzle is attached, the unit weighs approximately 1.2 kg, making it light enough for easy movement between rooms.

2.5x Suction Power: Compared to the initial EVOPOWER W35 model, the EVOPOWER DX offers 2.5 times more suction power, providing Shark’s highest suction to date. It effectively removes both large debris and fine dust.

Up to 40 Minutes of Runtime: The runtime has been extended from 35 minutes to a maximum of 40 minutes in eco mode, allowing for more extensive cleaning without worrying about battery life.

Enhanced Usability: The EVOPOWER DX incorporates an ergonomic handle, similar to Shark’s cordless stick vacuums, for improved grip and maneuverability. Accessory removal and dust disposal operations have also been streamlined.

Expanded LED Headlight Range: The LED headlight’s illumination range has been widened compared to the previous EVOPOWER EX model, allowing for more efficient cleaning by illuminating a larger area of debris.
