Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. has announced the release of the paid downloadable content (DLC) “Katamari Neo Remix Pack” and a free “DJ 3-Piece Set” update for Once Upon A Katamari, currently available on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and STEAM®.

To commemorate the DLC release, an “Once Upon A Katamari Name a Star!” campaign is underway on the official Katamari Damacy X account, offering star naming certificates as prizes. Additionally, a “Sports Katamari” live stream is scheduled for today, March 5th (Thursday) at 19:30 JST.

Paid DLC “Katamari Neo Remix Pack” & Free Update “DJ 3-Piece Set” Now Available!

The paid DLC “Katamari Neo Remix Pack” is now available, featuring five newly remixed classic tracks usable as stage BGM and costume items from previous Katamari Damacy series titles.

Furthermore, a free “DJ 3-Piece Set” update is also being distributed. Players are encouraged to enjoy the DJ experience with these new additions!

In conjunction with the release of the “Katamari Neo Remix Pack” DLC and the free update, a campaign is being held on the official Katamari Damacy X account (@katamariseries).

Participants can follow the official X account and post or quote retweet with the specified hashtag and their desired star name. The King will select five star names from the entries, and the chosen five individuals will receive a Star Naming Certificate. All interested players are encouraged to participate!

About Once Upon A Katamari

Once Upon A Katamari is the latest installment in the romantic action game series Katamari Damacy, where players roll a ball, collect objects, and make them into stars.

The story begins with the Royal Family, who rule the Great Cosmos, cleaning their castle. During the cleaning, they discover a peculiar scroll. The King, bored with cleaning, throws the scroll high into the sky, accidentally destroying Earth, the Moon, and countless other stars in the universe. Players must time travel to the era written on the scroll to restore the brilliance of the shattered stars and bring back the starry sky.
