What is GENKI Dock 3?
The “Legendary GENKI Dock” returns as its third generation, significantly powered up. This next-generation all-in-one dock condenses a charger, dock, and HDMI output into a size approximately 1/14 (52×30×66mm, 116g) when compared to the official Nintendo Switch 2 dock, AC adapter, and AC plug combined.
Following the success of the first “GENKI Dock,” which achieved the top spot in Makuake’s gaming device rankings, the GENKI series has garnered global support. It raised $1,437,389 from 12,237 backers on Kickstarter in the US and 15,448,185 Taiwanese Dollars from 4,702 individuals on ZecZec in Taiwan.

The GENKI Dock 3 introduces significant improvements over its predecessors:

Not Just for Switch 2! One Device for All Your Needs
With up to 60W GaN charging, the GENKI Dock 3 supports charging for a wide range of USB Type-C compatible devices, including Nintendo Switch 2, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and portable gaming PCs. When combined with an HDMI 2.1 cable, it also enables video output to TVs, monitors, and projectors.
Introducing ShadowCast 3 Pro on Makuake
Also available for pre-order in the same project is the “ShadowCast 3 Pro,” touted as the world’s smallest 4K60 capture card. This device allows users to play Switch 2 or PS5 games on a laptop or iPad screen, even without a TV. It includes a zero-latency HDMI passthrough module, enabling simultaneous zero-latency output to a TV and recording/streaming to a PC or iPad. It supports live streaming software such as OBS, Streamlabs, Zoom, and Discord.
