Iris Ohyama Introduces “WOOZOO 360 i” Circulator, Achieving 30 Million Unit Sales Milestone
Iris Ohyama Inc. has announced the launch of its new circulator, the “WOOZOO 360 i,” which features an innovative “Room Temperature Linked Mode.” This new model is set to be released sequentially from May 8, 2026, at electronics retailers, home centers, and online stores nationwide. The company’s circulator series has also achieved a significant milestone, with cumulative sales exceeding 30 million units globally as of January 2026.

In recent years, the increasing frequency of heatwaves due to global warming and rising energy resource costs driven by geopolitical risks have heightened the demand for efficient energy-saving solutions. While combining air conditioners with circulators is a common energy-saving method, circulators are often used to blow air directly onto the body for cooling, rather than fully utilizing their primary function of improving air conditioning efficiency through air circulation.
New “Room Temperature Linked Mode” for Enhanced Efficiency
The newly launched “WOOZOO 360 i” addresses this by incorporating a “Room Temperature Linked Mode” designed to maximize air circulation. When placed where it can receive airflow from an air conditioner, its built-in temperature sensor detects changes in room temperature. It automatically controls power ON/OFF and adjusts its oscillation to the optimal direction for cooling or heating—horizontal for cooling and diagonally upward for heating, both with 360° fixed oscillation. During summer, circulating the cool air that tends to accumulate in the lower parts of the room horizontally helps reduce temperature unevenness throughout the space. This allows users to set their air conditioner 2°C higher while maintaining a comfortable perceived temperature, thereby achieving a more efficient and comfortable environment.

Advanced Features for Versatile Use and Convenience
The “WOOZOO 360 i” is the first ball-shaped model from Iris Ohyama to achieve full 360° left-right oscillation (in 6 stages) and 90° up-down oscillation (in 4 stages), offering up to 24 airflow patterns. The remote control allows for stepless angle adjustments, enabling precise airflow customization for various scenes and spaces.

Additionally, it supports USB Type-C™ (※2) power supply, allowing it to be used in various locations with a mobile battery (※3). When using a USB Power Delivery compatible adapter or mobile battery, it can operate at maximum output. A handle is integrated for easy portability, enabling users to move it effortlessly to wherever it is needed.

User-Friendly Design and Maintenance
The unit features an LCD panel that clearly displays the operating mode and oscillation angle. For cleaning, the entire unit, including the back, can be disassembled without tools, allowing for thorough washing of removed parts to maintain hygiene. A remote control storage pocket on the back of the unit helps prevent loss.

Equipped with a DC motor, the “WOOZOO 360 i” combines quiet operation (under 35dB up to wind speed level 4 out of 8) (※4) with powerful airflow capable of covering up to 22 tatami mats (※5), offering both comfort and energy efficiency.

Iris Ohyama is committed to developing products that closely align with consumers’ daily lives, contributing to the realization of comfortable living.
