LG Electronics to Launch 2026 OLED TV Models from June 25

New Lineup Overview

The 2026 lineup introduces three 4K OLED TV series: “LG OLED evo AI W6,” “LG OLED evo AI G6,” and “LG OLED evo AI C6,” encompassing a total of 10 models. This range offers diverse options, from serious visual entertainment to everyday use.

The “LG OLED evo AI W6” is an ultra-thin wireless 4K OLED TV, measuring less than 1cm in thickness. This series, inspired by the 2017 “LG SIGNATURE OLED W” Wallpaper design, now integrates wireless connectivity, offering a sophisticated design with premium visual experiences.

The tuner and all terminals are housed in a compact “Zero Connect Box,” which can be placed up to 10 meters away from the TV. This design eliminates cable clutter and offers greater flexibility in TV placement.

The “LG OLED evo AI G6” series focuses on breathtaking visuals and refined design, while the “LG OLED evo AI C6” series provides a high-grade option that balances performance, aesthetics, and price.

Hyper Radiant Color Technology for Enhanced Visuals

The “LG OLED evo AI W6” and “LG OLED evo AI G6” series feature LG’s proprietary “Hyper Radiant Color Technology.” This technology comprehensively optimizes brightness enhancement, black expression, color reproduction, and reflection reduction to deliver consistent high-quality images in any viewing environment. When combined with “Brightness Booster Ultra,” it achieves up to approximately 3.9 times higher brightness compared to conventional models.

These models have obtained UL certifications for “Perfect Black” (V183632), which certifies the reproduction of almost perfect black, and “Perfect Color” (V569367), which certifies accurate color reproduction in both dark and bright environments. The “Perfect Reproduction” (V756760) certification further confirms the ability to reproduce content’s original brightness and colors under any conditions. Intertek’s “100% Color Fidelity” certification also verifies highly accurate color expression, maintaining faithful color reproduction even in bright settings.

Furthermore, the displays significantly reduce reflections, as evidenced by Intertek’s “Reflection Free Premium” and UL’s “Discomfort Glare Free” certifications. This allows for an immersive viewing experience without compromising deep blacks and rich colors, even in brightly lit living rooms.

AI Processor for Optimized Content and Personalization

All series are equipped with the latest real-time AI processor, “α11 AI Processor 4K Gen3.” This advanced processing foundation optimizes both video and sound, and facilitates AI personalization for user-specific settings.

• AI Picture Pro: Analyzes video scene-by-scene in real-time to automatically optimize it through noise reduction, upscaling, brightness adjustment, and color correction, resulting in more natural and beautiful images.

• AI Sound Pro: Analyzes content genre and audio characteristics, automatically adjusting sound spread, clarity, and balance. It also converts 2-channel audio into immersive virtual 11.1.2-channel three-dimensional sound, providing a more spatial surround effect.

• AI Personal Wizard / AI Sound Wizard: These features allow users to easily customize picture and sound quality. The “AI Personal Wizard” suggests preferred picture quality from approximately 1.6 billion patterns by selecting favorite images a few times, while the “AI Sound Wizard” suggests preferred sound from approximately 270 million patterns by selecting favorite sounds a few times.

Enhanced Home Cinema Experience

To elevate the home cinema experience, the new models support existing features such as Dolby Vision®, Dolby Atmos®, and FILMMAKER MODE™.

• FILMMAKER MODE™: Reproduces the filmmaker’s original intent by turning off video processing like frame interpolation, expressing the raw beauty of the content.

• Ambient FILMMAKER MODE: Newly introduced in the 2026 models, this mode uses the TV’s ambient light sensor to detect surrounding brightness and automatically adjusts video brightness and tone accordingly. This ensures the creator’s vision is respected while making the content viewable even in bright living room environments.

• Dolby Vision®: Supports HDR format controlled on a scene-by-scene or frame-by-frame basis, offering dynamic picture quality for movies, games, and streaming.

• Dolby Atmos®: Provides an immersive audio experience where sound moves in all directions, including overhead, making viewers feel as if they are part of the on-screen action.

Smart Features for Seamless Operation

• Magic Remote: The included Magic Remote features a pointer that moves freely on the screen, allowing for intuitive and smooth TV operation. Pressing the AI button enables automatic account switching, eliminating the need to re-enter login information. It also links with the “AI Picture Wizard” and “AI Sound Wizard” settings for seamless access to optimized viewing environments.

• LG’s Proprietary webOS: Provides access to a wide range of streaming content through domestic and international VOD apps such as YouTube, Netflix, and TVer. It also supports cloud gaming services like “Xbox Cloud Gaming” and “NVIDIA GeForce NOW.”

• Multi AI Search: Compatible with “Google Gemini” and “Microsoft Copilot,” allowing AI to quickly answer questions and provide advice on topics discovered while watching TV, such as tourist destinations or restaurants.

Superior Gaming Experience

LG’s OLED TVs offer not only delicate and realistic color expression but also an impressive response time of 0.1ms (excluding OLED97G6PJA which is 1ms), enabling high-level gaming performance. They support a 165Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution when VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) is applied and are compatible with “NVIDIA G-SYNC® Compatible” and “AMD FreeSync™ Premium Technologies,” ensuring exceptionally smooth, tear-free gameplay.

Eye-Friendly Viewing Experience

LG’s 2026 OLED TVs have obtained “Eyesafe® RPF 40” and “Eyesafe® CPF 60” certifications based on “Eyesafe® Display” standards. This ensures a viewing environment with reduced blue light and consideration for circadian rhythms, providing a comfortable and safe viewing experience even during extended periods, while maintaining high color accuracy.

Additionally, they have received UL’s “Low Blue Light Hardware Solution Platinum” and “Flicker Free Display” certifications, further underscoring the commitment to an eye-friendly viewing experience.

Comprehensive Support System

• AI Chatbot: If users encounter operational issues or malfunctions, they can select “AI Chatbot” from the TV menu to receive guidance or be directed to diagnostic programs. This allows for smoother assistance before contacting customer service.

• 5-Year Panel Warranty: The standard 1-year manufacturer’s warranty is extended to 5 years upon free product registration on the LG official website. This applies to the “LG OLED evo W6” and “LG OLED evo G6” series (note that for the 2nd year onwards, technical and on-site service fees may apply for panel warranty).

• Customer Support: LG’s support channels include phone, email, LINE, and chatbot. A repair network of approximately 70 locations across Japan ensures prompt service, with repairs for all LG products, including TVs, in Tokyo’s 23 wards typically completed within 72 hours (subject to parts availability).
