The “LG StanbyME 2 Max” is equipped with a 32-inch 4K resolution (3840×2160) display. This large screen provides immersive visuals and detailed imagery, enhancing the viewing experience for movies, dramas, sports, and live performances.

Alpha8 AI Processor 4K Gen3 for Optimal Picture and Sound Quality
Integrating the “Alpha8 AI Processor 4K Gen3,” the device utilizes AI technology, trained with global video data, to analyze content in real-time and optimize both video and audio. For picture quality, “AI Picture Pro” automatically identifies content genres and adjusts for optimal visual expression, while “4K AI Upscaling” enhances low-resolution content to deliver natural and vivid images. For audio, “AI Sound Pro” converts sound into virtual 11.1.2ch three-dimensional audio and automatically adjusts sound quality according to content, providing a tailored listening experience for movies, sports, and music concerts.
Three Styles and Up to 4.5 Hours of Battery Life
This model supports three usage styles: a stand with casters, a self-standing mount, and a flat-laying option. When attached to the caster stand, it can be freely moved across various locations within the home, from the living room to the bedside or kitchen. Detaching the display and attaching the self-standing mount allows it to be placed on tables or shelves. The flat-laying style enables operation while placed on a table or even while lying down, providing flexible usage tailored to different situations.
Furthermore, the built-in battery offers up to approximately 4.5 hours of operation, allowing users to enjoy movies and dramas in any preferred location without concerns about power outlets. This versatility enables a single device to transform any part of the home into a living space, proposing a new lifestyle.
webOS, AirPlay 2, and Google Cast Support
Equipped with LG’s proprietary “webOS,” the device allows access to over 600 apps, including VOD services like YouTube, TVer, Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video, as well as web browsing and gaming, simply by connecting to the internet. It also supports AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, enabling easy viewing of smartphone and tablet content on the large screen.
Additionally, with USB Type-C and HDMI inputs, it connects to external devices such as laptops and game consoles. This makes it suitable for a wide range of uses, from entertainment to work and study, including remote work, document creation, and online learning.
Vertical/Horizontal Rotation, Height, and Angle Adjustment with Auto Pivot Function
The display supports vertical and horizontal rotation, as well as height and angle adjustment when used with the caster stand, ensuring a comfortable viewing environment tailored to the scene and content. The Auto Pivot function automatically switches the screen display when the orientation of the display is changed, allowing for use similar to a smartphone or tablet.
Included Mini Remote Control, Touchscreen, and Voice Recognition
The unit comes with a compact dedicated mini remote control for smooth operation from a distance. It attaches securely to the main unit, preventing loss during transport and ensuring it is readily available. Intuitive operation is also possible via the touchscreen.
Furthermore, it features hands-free voice recognition, allowing users to launch apps and adjust volume by simply saying “Hi LG.” Voice recognition can also be used with a separately sold Magic Remote (model MR26JP, released in 2026) or via the “LG ThinQ” app.
LG Gallery+ and Mood Maker for Ambiance Creation
Beyond content viewing, this model can also be used for ambiance creation. It supports “LG Gallery+” which can display over 5,000 art pieces when not actively viewing content. The “Mood Maker” function displays animated content, such as clocks, weather, and turntable motifs, or favorite photos, to match the room’s atmosphere or mood. When connected to a smartphone, it can also play favorite music in sync with the displayed content.
