“Kemono Friends” and Mitacle Block Begin Annual Collaboration

TOKYO, Japan – April 25, 2026 – G-ant Inc. has announced the start of an annual collaboration with the Kemono Friends Project, introducing new products for its voxel-based assembly figure series, “Mitacle Block.” The first installment of this collaboration, launched today on “World Penguin Day” (April 25th), features five popular penguin Friends from “Kemono Friends.” These figures are available for pre-order on the official Mitacle Block EC site.

The figures allow fans to create their own Japari Park on their desk, featuring double figures of the Friends and their real-life animal counterparts, along with stages. Pre-orders are open until September 30, 2026.

First Collaboration Features Penguin Friends for World Penguin Day

The initial release transforms five popular penguin Friends from “Kemono Friends” into Mitacle Blocks. Each Friend’s unique personality and costume are meticulously reproduced using voxel technology. The figures are available in two formats: a standalone figure and a “Mini Character + Stage” set, which includes a miniature of the original animal and a connectable stage. These stages are designed to be linked, allowing collectors to expand their display as they collect more figures.

Each character includes a “3D online design drawing” accessible via smartphone or PC, allowing users to view each block piece for assembly. This feature ensures that even those new to block building can enjoy the assembly process intuitively. The aim is to provide a “fandom experience that doesn’t end with the purchase,” encouraging fans to display their self-assembled figures, share them on social media, customize them, and carry them around.

Expanding the “Kemono Friends” World with Mitacle Block

“Kemono Friends” is a story set in the colossal integrated zoo “Japari Park,” where Friends, animals transformed into human-like forms by the mysterious substance “Sandstar,” embark on grand adventures. The project has expanded across various media, including games, comics, TV anime, stage plays, and collaborations with zoos. As it approaches its 10th anniversary in 2025, the project continues to offer new products and events for the next decade.

Mitacle Block plans to further enhance the series by releasing new Friends approximately every one to two months throughout the year, along with real-world events such as pop-up shops. Further announcements regarding these plans will be made at a later date.
