LG UltraFine™ 27-inch 4K Monitors “27U730B-B” and “27U710B-B” Launched
LG Electronics Japan has announced the release of two new 27-inch 4K LG UltraFine™ monitors, the “27U730B-B” and “27U710B-B”. The “27U730B-B” is scheduled for release in late May 2026, while the “27U710B-B” will be available sequentially from mid-May 2026.
Key Features
Both models feature a 4K (3840×2160) resolution IPS panel, known for its wide viewing angles and vivid, natural color reproduction. They cover 90% (standard value) of the DCI-P3 digital cinema standard, ensuring accurate color fidelity. Additionally, HDR10 support allows for vibrant display of HDR content. The 27-inch display size combined with 4K resolution enables more information to be shown on screen, potentially improving work and operational efficiency.
The “27U730B-B” model is equipped with a USB Type-C terminal, allowing for display connection, power delivery (up to 65W USB PD), and data transfer with a single cable. This simplifies setup for laptops and contributes to a tidier desk environment. Both models also include DisplayPort, HDMI, and a headphone (stereo mini-jack) port for various device connections.
Ergonomic Design and User Comfort
The monitors come with an ergonomic stand that allows for 80mm height adjustment and tilt from -5° to 15° (front to back), enabling users to position the screen according to their posture and environment. The stylish, minimalist design features a 3-side frameless and slim body, contributing to space-saving and seamless integration into office or home interiors.
For user comfort, both models incorporate “Flicker Safe” technology to suppress screen flickering and a “Blue Light Reduction Mode” to minimize blue light emissions. These features aim to reduce eye and brain strain during extended use. Furthermore, a “Color Weakness Mode” is included to assist individuals with color differentiation, although it adjusts colors for easier distinction and does not guarantee that all individuals will be able to distinguish all colors. The “Smart Energy Saving” function adjusts the aperture ratio of the LCD panel to reduce power consumption while minimizing color changes.
