Razer Introduces Clio X: Wireless Speaker Head Cushion with THX® Spatial Audio

Gadgets

Hear Every Sound from Behind

At the core of the Razer Clio X is an integrated near-field speaker design, featuring two 38mm full-range drivers and two 55mm passive radiators. These are angled to direct sound towards the listener’s ears, aiming to deliver immersive audio from the rear.

THX Spatial Audio is incorporated to create a wider and more realistic soundstage in acoustic expansion mode. This technology is designed to add depth and spatial awareness to games, movies, and music without the need for additional headwear.

Uncompromised Wireless Freedom

Razer Clio X Cushion

The Razer Clio X offers ultra-low latency wireless audio through Razer™ HyperSpeed 2.4 GHz, freeing users from cables when connected to consoles and PCs. It can be powered by a USB-C PD 2.0 compatible mobile battery (sold separately), providing up to 40 hours of wireless use. Actual battery life may vary depending on the capacity of the mobile battery used and usage conditions. An integrated USB Type-C cable can be neatly stowed in a rear cushion pouch, contributing to a clean setup free from cable clutter.

Designed with broad compatibility in mind, the plush, supportive foam head cushion includes adjustable nylon straps that can extend from 30 to 65 cm. This allows it to be attached to many high-back gaming chairs and office chairs, making it a versatile addition to various environments.

Expanded Playstyles with a Single Rear Speaker

The Razer Clio X can function as a standalone main speaker for enjoying games, movies, and music without a headset. Alternatively, it can be used in surround mode when combined with an existing soundbar or 2.0/2.1 speaker system. THX Spatial Audio helps to deliver an enveloping surround audio experience from the rear.
