Razer Unveils Base Station V3 Chroma: A Smart RGB Headset Stand for Automated Gaming Setups
Irvine, California & Singapore – August 27, 2026 – Razer™, a leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the Razer Base Station V3 Chroma, a smart RGB headset stand equipped with USB ports. This next-generation headset stand is designed to elevate gaming gear and personalize the user’s space with intelligent automation and vibrant Razer Chroma™ RGB lighting.

The Base Station V3 Chroma expands the growing Razer Chroma ecosystem, following recent Chroma-enabled products like the Razer Soma Chroma and Razer Seiren V3 Chroma. This further integrates peripherals and accessories into a synchronized lighting experience.
Seamless Headset Detection for Automated Battle Stations
A key new feature of the Base Station V3 Chroma is its Seamless Headset Detection. Compatible with any Razer Synapse-enabled headset, this technology automatically applies custom Razer Synapse profiles the moment a headset is lifted from the stand. This allows for instant switching of Chroma lighting, audio and microphone input, game launches, global shortcuts, and macros.
Custom profiles can be tailored for various uses and scenarios. For example, a gaming profile could switch audio output to the headset, launch a favorite game, and set up game-synchronized Chroma lighting. A streaming profile might launch streaming software and adjust lighting for broadcasts. A movie-watching profile could dim the entire setup’s lighting for enhanced immersion. When the headset is returned to the stand, all settings automatically revert to their default state, eliminating the need for manual clicks or menu navigation.

Integrated Audio, Lighting, and Connectivity Hub
The Base Station V3 Chroma also functions as an integrated hub for audio, lighting, and connectivity. It features two USB 3.1 ports, allowing for easy connection of headset dongles and other devices, contributing to a tidier desk space.
It supports immersive virtual 7.1 surround sound through software enhancement, enabling analog headsets to deliver realistic positional audio for an enhanced entertainment experience in movies and games.
Additionally, the stand is equipped with a 12-zone vertical RGB light strip, offering 16.8 million colors and a range of lighting effects to customize the battle station. It seamlessly synchronizes with other Razer Chroma RGB-enabled peripherals, over 300 games, and more than 500 devices from over 50 partners, creating a unified lighting aesthetic across the entire setup.
Durable Design for Everyday Gaming
Designed for daily gaming, the Base Station V3 Chroma combines a robust structure with meticulous attention to detail for battle station usability. A curved, rubberized non-slip ledge gently cradles the headset, protecting the headband and pad shapes while securely holding most headsets. The base features a felt non-slip bottom, ensuring a firm grip on the desk and maintaining the stability of the entire setup.
A Smart Command Center
The Razer Base Station V3 Chroma integrates intelligent headset detection, immersive virtual 7.1 surround sound, and advanced Chroma RGB lighting with a refined design and expanded connectivity. It serves as more than just a headset stand; it is a smart command center that protects gaming gear, organizes the battle station, and orchestrates a perfectly synchronized lighting setup.
