Introduction
NTT Docomo, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Docomo) will launch the “SOXAI RING 2,” a new model of the “SOXAI RING” health management smart ring developed by SOXAI Co., Ltd., an investee of NTT Docomo Ventures, Inc. The product will be available from February 27, 2026 (Friday) at the Docomo Online Shop and other participating EC sites, and from late March 2026 at Docomo Shops nationwide. Additionally, Showa Nishikawa Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Showa Nishikawa) will begin providing information on the product at its participating stores from late March 2026.

World’s Thinnest and Lightest Design
The “SOXAI RING 2” is designed to minimize stress on sleep due to wearing, with a thinness of approximately 6.7mm, a thickness of approximately 2.7mm, and a weight of approximately 2g, making it one of the world’s smallest health management smart rings. Its perfectly round shape, free from irregularities or imbalances, offers a natural fit that makes users forget they are wearing it, reducing discomfort.

Long-lasting Battery for Continuous Monitoring
Battery performance has significantly improved. While the previous model, “SOXAI RING 1.1,” offered up to 9 days of use, the “SOXAI RING 2” achieves up to 14 days of continuous use. This extended battery life allows for 24-hour health monitoring without the need for frequent charging.
High-Precision Sleep Measurement with “Deep Sensing™”
The “SOXAI RING 2” is newly equipped with the proprietary and patented photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor, “Deep Sensing™,” developed by SOXAI. This technology significantly enhances the measurement accuracy of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and skin temperature, enabling more precise visualization of physical conditions, including tendencies for sleep apnea. Utilizing a scoring logic based on the latest sleep science trends, the device calculates a sleep score based on seven indicators, such as sleep duration and sleep efficiency, reflecting the user’s actual sleep patterns. It measures scores across three categories—”Sleep,” “Physical Condition,” and “Exercise”—to visualize Quality of Life (QoL), and AI provides personalized advice for improving lifestyle habits to support user health promotion.

Reliable Japanese-Made Quality
The “SOXAI RING 2” ensures high quality through domestic design, manufacturing, inspection, and data management. It boasts IP68 equivalent/100m water resistance and features Citizen Watch Co., Ltd.’s “DURATECT®” surface hardening technology, allowing for stress-free 24-hour wear.
Integration with “d Healthcare®”
By linking the “SOXAI RING 2” with “d Healthcare,” users can centrally manage their step count, calorie consumption, and sleep data within the “d Healthcare” app. This integration allows users to earn d points (limited period and usage) by completing missions and receive personalized health columns, fostering consistent healthy habits in an enjoyable way.

Docomo, in collaboration with Showa Nishikawa, began handling sales referrals for the “SOXAI RING 1.1” at three participating stores from November 4, 2025 (Tuesday). From late March 2026, store staff will provide information on the “SOXAI RING 2” to customers visiting these stores.
Initiatives Utilizing “SOXAI RING” within the Docomo Group
Corporate Services
NTTPC Communications, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as NTTPC) has been implementing an initiative to introduce “SOXAI RING” into its “Health Management Support Service,” a corporate service that aids employee health promotion, since October 2025. NTTPC began handling the previous model, “SOXAI RING 1.1,” in October 2025, lending it to corporate customers engaged in health management and human capital management to support employee health promotion. From February 27, 2026 (Friday), NTTPC will begin handling the new model, “SOXAI RING 2,” to provide services that visualize both the mental stress and physical condition of employees, thereby powerfully supporting corporate health management.

Health Support for Sports Teams
NTT Docomo Kyushu Branch (hereinafter referred to as Docomo Kyushu) has been collaborating with the professional basketball club “Kagoshima Rebnise,” based in Kagoshima Prefecture, to provide “SOXAI RING” to its players since February 2026. Docomo Kyushu entered into a partnership agreement with “Kagoshima Rebnise” in December 2025 and has been supporting player health management through initiatives providing the previous model, “SOXAI RING 1.1.” Docomo Kyushu will continue to promote initiatives for sports team health support utilizing technology.
