The MHC-QD01-WH aims to combine the best aspects of air conditioners, fans, and heaters into a single unit, offering spot air conditioning that can be utilized throughout the year. It provides gentle humidity through its evaporative system, preventing excessive cooling or heating.
This appliance is designed to be cooler than a standard fan yet gentler than an air conditioner, providing a comfortable environment without over-cooling or over-heating. It serves as a year-round spot air conditioner.
Gentle Cooling with Water and Adjustable Airflow
The device generates gentle cool air by saturating a filter with water and utilizing the principle of evaporation. For an enhanced cooling sensation, users can insert the included ice packs into the lower tank.
Airflow can be adjusted across three levels (strong, medium, weak) for fan and cool air modes, and two levels (strong, weak) for warm air mode. This allows for a comfortable, “just right” breeze, suitable even for individuals sensitive to direct air conditioner drafts, making it a year-round solution that eliminates the need for seasonal storage.
Wide Air Distribution and Multiple Operating Modes
To ensure wide and gentle air distribution, the unit features automatic left/right oscillation (approximately 80°) and manually adjustable up/down louvers (approximately 80°). This enables users to customize the airflow direction to suit their activities and placement location.
The MHC-QD01-WH offers four primary operating modes: Fan (for gentle air circulation), Cool (for evaporative cooling), Warm (for spot heating, such as warming feet), and Humidify (to add moisture during dry seasons). These modes can be selected to fit various living situations throughout the year.
Additionally, there are three scene-specific modes: Rhythm mode (automatically varies airflow for a natural breeze), Sleep mode (gradually reduces airflow every 30 minutes), and Dry mode (for drying the water absorption filter).
Easy Operation and Maintenance
The appliance is designed for straightforward operation with a simple control panel. A remote control is also included, allowing users to adjust settings like fan speed, mode, and timer from a distance of up to approximately 5 meters. The remote can be neatly stored on the side of the main unit when not in use.
Refilling the water tank is easy; water can be poured directly into the back without lifting the unit or removing the tank. Alternatively, the top part of the unit can be removed to directly access and fill the tank.
With a large 10-liter water tank, the need for frequent refilling is reduced, making it convenient for extended use, even on days spent mostly at home.
For easy portability, the unit is equipped with casters, allowing it to be smoothly moved from the living room to the bedroom, adapting to various daily routines.
Enhanced Safety Features
The MHC-QD01-WH incorporates several safety features for peace of mind. An off-timer can be set from 1 to 8 hours in 1-hour increments, which is convenient for use before sleep or as an air conditioner supplement.
Additional safety designs include a tip-over auto-off switch, which automatically stops operation if the unit falls, and a thermostat to prevent overheating by automatically stopping the unit if it reaches a high temperature. When operating in warm air mode, an automatic shut-off function activates after 10 hours to prevent accidental prolonged operation.
Simple Cleaning for Daily Use
To ensure daily hygiene, the water tank and filters, which are prone to dirt, are designed for easy cleaning. The water tank can be lightly rinsed, and the water absorption filter is washable and should be thoroughly dried. The air intake filter can be cleaned by vacuuming any attached dust.
