The AQUOS wish6 features a large 6.6-inch display with a maximum brightness of approximately 1,000 nits, which is about twice that of its predecessor, the AQUOS wish5 (as of September 2026, according to Sharp’s research). This enhancement ensures clear visibility even under strong outdoor sunlight. The display also supports a smooth 120Hz high-speed drive, providing an enjoyable experience for video viewing.
Regarding its construction, the device incorporates metal components into its frame, achieving both a slim profile and increased resistance to bending. It is equipped with a large-capacity 5,000mAh battery and offers IPX5/8/9 waterproof, IP6X dustproof, and MIL-STD-810H compliant shock-resistant performance. The back of the device features a fine textured finish, providing a non-slip grip and a matte appearance that resists fingerprints.
Comprehensive Security and Convenience Features
The AQUOS wish6 comes with a range of security and convenience functions. The crime prevention alarm can be activated by simply shaking the device, emitting a loud warning sound. It can also automatically dial pre-registered contacts and send location information via SMS.
Furthermore, AI analyzes call content to alert users to potential suspicious calls and allows restrictions on international calls (both incoming and outgoing) to counter international phone scams. An AI-powered “Call Assistant” automatically transcribes messages when the user is unable to answer a call.
