YAMADA Holdings Launches Four New RIAIR Handheld Fan Models for Lifestyle-Specific Cooling

YAMADA Holdings has announced the release of four new handheld fan models under its original brand “YAMADA Products” and sub-brand “RIAIR”. These products are designed to offer cooling solutions for various lifestyles, supporting individuals in combating the heat during commuting, school, and outdoor activities this summer. The new lineup will be available from May 25, 2026, at Yamada Denki, Best Denki, and Matsuya Denki stores nationwide (excluding some locations), as well as on the Yamada Webcom EC site.

This fan can be attached to standard parasols and umbrellas (compatible with shaft diameters of 7-12mm), allowing users to receive a cool breeze while walking without their hands being occupied. It incorporates a semi-solid state battery, which significantly reduces the risk of unexpected battery-related issues such as leakage, ignition, and overheating compared to conventional liquid-type batteries.

Featuring a dual-reverse rotating fan with two blades spinning in opposite directions, this fan delivers a direct, linear airflow. It comes with a neck strap and carabiner for convenient portability. Equipped with a 3000mAh battery, it offers up to approximately 15 hours of continuous operation, ensuring extended use without concerns about battery depletion during outings. It is available in two colors: gray and white.
